The possession of altair. When I read the plot description for this Mexican found footage film and saw mention of 8mm tapes, I assumed it would be shot digitally but have a filter on it to make it look like it was shot on film like many low budget throwback movies do. When preorders opened for the Cauldron Films blu-ray, I passed on it because of this. Thankfully, I read some more about it though because it is actually shot on 8mm.
And it is gloriously grainy! I loved the way it looked and am glad to support low budget horror that's shot on film. The movie itself is a perfectly fine found footage movie.
